Day +01

Good evening folks. I am a bit shaky and desperately trying to focus. Today is Day +1, and it is nearly over. I wish I could say it has been fun, but somehow that does not quite cover it. However, the doctors and nurses seem quite pleased with my progress and are watching every step of the way...from a distance. I am at the Transplant House and visit the hospital each day as an outpatient. They weigh me, test my blood, and listen to heart, lungs, even my poor, poor stomach.

Thanks for the prayers. I really need them. Focus of yesterday and today has been on keeping liquids, medications, and some very light food down in my stomach. Success has been sporadic. Life goes on.
