Today, in class, we continued to review the steps of simplifying variable expressions. We also talked about the "basics" of Algebra and solving equations for lesson 2.4
- We went over the Worksheet answers from Friday (simplifying variable expressions is a skill, it's all about the practice!)
- We went over Check In 2.1-2.2
- We also went over an intro to 2.4 Solving Equations with variables.
- Homework:
- p. 87-88 #8-34 even
- There will be a Check in on 2.3-2.4 tomorrow (Formative)
- There will be a Quiz on 2.1-2.4 Wednesday (Summative)
Tuesday:
Today, in class, we spent more time talking about simplifying variable expressions and we reviewed for tomorrow's quiz.
- We went over questions for the quiz.
- Spent time on Check In 2.3-2.4 (Formative)
- Then we went over the answers to the Check In
- Homework:
- p. 84 #1-22 all
- Quiz on 2.1-2.4 Tomorrow (Summative)
Wednesday:
Today in class we started the 2.1-2.4 Quiz.
- We went of the "Mid Chapter Quiz" Homework
- Then spent the rest of the period on the Quiz

Thursday:
Today in class we finished the 2.1-2.4 Quiz
- We also, began Lesson 2.5
- Homework:
- Read p. 91-92 (look for the following words: Inverse Operations, Equivalent Equations, Subtraction Property of Equality, Addition Property of Equality)
