Today in class we reviewed for the 7.1-7.4 Quiz, then took the 7.1-7.4 Quiz

• We went over the Mid Chapter Quiz Homework p. 366 #1-22
• We took the 7.1-7.4 Quiz
• Homework Tonight:
  • Lesson 7.5: Modeling Percent of Change Read p. 367 and answer questions #1-6
  • IXL L & M due 4/25 (You should be about halfway complete with it by now!)

Tuesday:

Today in class we worked on Lesson 7.5: Percent of Change

• We went over the 7.5: Concept Activity Homework (Modeling percent change)
• We talked about the percent change formula : Percent of Change, p% = Amount of Increase, or Decrease/ Original Amount
• We watched a video about Percent of Change (increase)

• We discussed the WSQ/Preview for Lesson 7.6
• We talked about the following terms: markup, discount, tax, tip, and working backwards (to the original amount)
• Homework Tonight:
  • p. 376 #8-24 even
  • Check in (Formative) on 7.5 & 7.6, Tomorrow
  • No WSQ Notes tonight (it will be tomorrow!)
  • Work on IXL Sections L & M (you should be complete with L by tonight) Due Monday, 4/25

  • Begin Thinking about which chapter you would like to study next: Chapter 10 or Chapter 11
