Wednesday:
Today in class we worked on the area model for multiplying fractions.
- We watched the following video on Khan Academy:
- Then we worked on the Math Journal Lesson 2.4 (p. 65-66)- Using the Area Model for Fraction Division
- Homework: Finish Math Journal p. 65-66
Thursday:
Today in class we went over the 1.10-1.14 Summative
- We went over MJ p. 66 (modeling and solving fraction multiplication problems with mixed numbers)
- Then we went over the test
- We also worked on Front Row- Number System
- Homework:
- Go over, and get your summative signed by a parent
- Work on Front Row- Number System for 30 minutes
Friday:
Today in class we took a Check In on modeling fraction multiplication
- We had time to Work on Math Journal- Math Boxes p. 68
- Then we started Home Link 2.4 together as a class
- Homework:
- Finish Home Link 2.4
- Get your summative signed by a parent (if you have not already!)
