Monday: Periods 3, 4, & 8 (Period 6 had MAP Testing Today- No Homework for Period 6)
Today in class we continued learning about Surface Area.
- We used actual boxes to create a net model of each box
- We used rulers (the centimeter side) and centimeter grid paper
- After we constructed the nets/boxes we solved for the surface area of each box.
Homework:
- Questions #10-13 on Schoology (the last image/last 4 question)
- You will need a ruler
- Make sure to draw a model of each box AND a net for each box
Tuesday:
Today in class we went over the Surface Area Problems from yesterday and Period 6 worked on yesterdays activity.
- Students modeled #10-13 on the board
- Students continued their isometric figures from Friday (due tomorrow)
Homework:
- Period 6
- Questions #10-13 on Schoology (the last image/last 4 question)
- You will need a ruler

Wednesday: Early Release- 1:30, shorter class schedule
- We hung our isometric drawings in the classroom
- We had conferences with Mrs. Segal about our Spring MAP-Math Goals
- We played Prodigy

- We began to learn how to solve the the Surface Area of a Triangular Prism
