What do Vietnamese people think about them?

In this project, you will begin to learn about the different regional dialects of Vietnam and explore Vietnamese people's perceptions and attitudes toward these dialects.

You will record an interview with a Vietnamese speaker outside of class and submit that recording to the teacher.

Throughout this course, you will keep a Dialect Log to record and reflect on the dialectal differences that you encounter.

This on-going project is important to help you relate the Vietnamese pronunciation you learn in this class and the Vietnamese pronunciation by people in town and in various parts of Vietnam.
