The upper-level course called Quantitive Reasoning is a thorough study of using numbers to think critically. Lasting a whole year, this class focuses on helping students solve real-life problems using math. The main aim is to teach students how to use basic math, like algebra, to understand everyday information. In this course, students work on themed units that cover Number and Quantity, Algebra, Functions, Statistics and Probability, and Geometry. The emphasis is on improving skills in understanding, calculating, analyzing, and communicating effectively about math. This ensures that students build a strong foundation in mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
