Writing 1

Below is the Writing Prompt that you are asked to write a response to electronically and submit it to your instructor. For help and information, please read pages 54 & 55 in your chemistry text books. Information regarding averages and statistics will come from classroom instruction. When you click on the Writing 1 Form (left) a writing form will appear. Fill out all the information and write your response. Then press the "submit" button at the bottom of the writing form page.

Prompt: Briefly explain why companies and colleges want you to repeat your experiments at least three times. Your answer should include the concepts of averaging, statistics, precision and accuracy.
