The great blizzard of 1888 was insane covering most of the Northeast. That includes:

That was only a tiny bit of the storm and it was still insane, the place that got the most of it was New York. New York. The had snow 4 and a half feet high (55 inches). In estimate 400 people died in this storm all across America. For a crazy storm the storm itself to long but the snow stayed for a while. The darkness stated on March 10, and on March 11 it started. March 11 to the 14 created such a long storm. At first it was rain but that turned to snow. This blizzard reached hurricane-strength levels.
