The 2013 Moore tornado is a very strong tornado and it was a very large EF5. This tornado took place during May 20, 2013. The peak wind speed was thought to be 340 km/h ( 210 mph). Unfortunately, there were 24 deaths and 212 people injured. The maximum width is 1.30 miles. The Moore tornado was a serious tornado and many people and things were injured.
Researchers found out that the Moore tornado was producing many other tornados on the in the Great Plains in the last couple of days. The tornado a traveled fast speed of 17 miles in 37 minutes. The tornado passed through a section of Moore city that was highly populated so there was lots of damage. Many homes and schools didn't develop shelters even though the earlier had a tornado.
The effects of the tornado caused money that numerous people worked hard for to be demolished. It destroyed 2 billion dollars worth 1,150. It has been reported 377 people were injured by the tornado. Many houses have been flattened and destroyed.
