The Blizzard of 1993 was a category 5 storm. It occurred on the East Coast from Florida to Maine. It was one of the most powerful storms of the century!

The storm started in The Gulf of Mexico and went up the east coast with snow, sleet and winds that reached up to 100 miles per hour along with giant crashing waves in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. There was a state of emergency in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Delaware, Georgia, and Tennessee.

270 people were killed in all 13 states. Although it only lasted from March 11 to March 15, it was definitely a blizzard to remember.
