This storm was days before Thanksgiving. A football team even played in the blizzard it was terrible. Some meteorologists at the time called it extra-tropical cyclone”
It was terrible this storm is ranked 2 in the most deaths for all the blizzards recorded in american history. It took 7 million dollars for repair. Miners had to use flamethrowers to get the trains down the mine. Local residents had to shovel almost 20 feet of snow. This is one of the extreme weather moments and it was insane it took almost a year for the town to get back in shape. Families from south up to the east were snowed in.
