Hurricane Andrew- Lilly Guest

Hurricane Andrew Killed about 65 people. Every store was closed, street lights, cars, houses, and two school buses got torn from the wind. The school buses were taking people and bringing people to shelters so they could be safe, but the wind was so strong that it took the school bus up in that air and then hit the ground. There was no safe place in South Florida. Their was 8 people in one house and right before the wind took it, they moved into a trailer and 6 people got hurt and the other 2 men died. Cars were not allowed on the roads because street light were down and you didn't know if the wires were hot or not. The damage was awful. The winds were 175 MPH. That's fast! " I can't believe that this happened. The winds were so strong, a lot of houses were torn down, and I lost my home and animals." Hurricane Andrew suriver said. They spent a lot of money fixing south Florida. Some people moved from south florida and moved to a different place, but others stayed and tried to rebuild their house.
