I know this is an interesting request, but can you please poll your advisory and see how many of them have access to the following types of calculators:

“Dr. Alexi- who spoke with all of you yesterday has written a little note he’d like read to you this morning.  It sais  ‘Watsup everyone,  I just wanted to really make it so clear that yesterday -  every time I used the term “loser” I meant to have put air quotes over that word.  The adrenaline of being in front of you’all got the best of me and I was so glad your vice principle allowed me the chance to make that point abundantly clear.  “Loser” was what people called us, when they were acting out the sexism, racism, homophobia, classism, elitism, xenophobia, heteronormativism, and general animosity towards those of us who don’t fit the majority population 100%.  Beside the people I mentioned yesterday, our group also meant that the Goth and Emo students joined us, the Muslim and Hindu students, a transgendered student, students with disabilities, techies, hippies, or anyone who didn’t have a ton of friends.  Our little movement was there to prove that we were all beautiful human beings and that we thought we were awesome regardless of any of the “isms” that existed at our highschool.  I hope with all my heart, that my story conveyed this intention. Thanks for being a great audience yesterday, Dr. Alexi”

Hello All,

Currently, the Workshop Registration link is not on our website, but I am hoping that it will be on there before Advisory starts. If not, here is the link:

Passwords and folder management

As communicated earlier regarding the enhanced security requirements at BVSD, students in grades 6-12 must change their passwords every 90 days. The next password change deadline is Jan 15, 2014.

In order to communicate about password expiration with students who may not check their BVSD email regularly, we have created a message that will pop up when they logon or logoff a district Windows computer. We also ask for your help in this effort by reminding them to change their passwords as soon as possible to prevent future logon problems.

We now offer two ways to change passwords:

For more information, please see Password Manager Instructions for Secondary Students.
