5.35 Link & Unlink Items

Link/Unlink Items

On the Equipment page on the right side of the screen under the Project Tools section, you can use the Link / Unlink feature to link /unlink child items and sub-items from parent equipment or systems.

Link Items:

1. Under the Project Tools menu on the right side of the screen, click on Link / Unlink Items.

2. From the drop down menu, select the equipment type you want to link.

3. Select the equipment you want to link by either checking individual pieces of equipment or by using select all to link all of that equipment type.

4. From the Link Selected Items to drop down menu, select the equipment you want to link the equipment to.

5. Click the Apply New Links button to link the equipment.

Unlink Items:

1. Click on Link / Unlink Items in the project tools menu on the right side of the screen.

2. From the dropdown menu select the equipment type you want to unlink.

3. Select the equipment you want to unlink by either checking individual pieces of equipment or by using select all to unlink all of that equipment type.

4. Click on the Unlink Selected Items button.
