5.32 Copy Equipment Window

Copy Equipment on the Summary Screen allows you to make a copy of a piece of equipment and have it copy the same FPTs, Data, Log Notes, Issues, and Images over to a new piece of equipment or multiple new pieces of equipment. More information about the Summary Screen can be found in our Summary View help document.

Copying Equipment:

1. Check the box next to the equipment you want to copy.

2. Click Copy Equipment in the menu bar.

3. Select the optional information you would like to copy to the new equipment.

4. Select to add the equipment by adding a range of equipment or adding a list of names.

5. Click the Next> Button.

6. Setup the names for the equipment you are copying by clicking into the text box, if you are making multiple copies you can paste a list of names as well, in this example the default name would have been Air Handling Unit-01, this project already has a piece of equipment with that name so it was changes in the example to Air Handling Unit-05.

7. Click Copy Equipment to complete the copy process.

8. The new equipment will be displayed on the Summary Screen.

9. Click Save and Close to save changes and exit the Summary Screen or Save Changes to save the changes and continue to work on the Summary Screen.
