On the summary screen, there are 3 ways to add equipment:
Add Selected Quantity
Add Range
Add List
1. To add the equipment Click on the Add Equipment button on the Summary Screen.
Add Selected Quantity:
The Add Selected Quantity option allows you to add 1 to 100 pieces of equipment to the project.
2. Add Selected Quantity will be the default option when you click on the Add Equipment button.
3. Click on the dropdown menu to select how many pieces of equipment to add.
You can type part or all of the number after clicking the dropdown menu to jump to that number
4. Click Add Equipment to add the equipment to your project.
Add Range:
The Add Range option allows you to add a range of equipment to the project, so if you already have 2 Air Handling Units on the project you could add Air Handling Unit-03 through Air Handling Unit-10 to the project.
2. Click on the Add range radio button.
3. Set the Base Name you want for the equipment, it will be pre-filled in but you can set a custom name.
4. Format sets how many digits the number will be displayed in, the default will be set to 2 digit.
5. Start number will set the number added after the Base Name, in example image below it would start by adding Air Handling Unit-01.
6. End Number will set the number of the last piece of equipment to be added, in the example image below the range would only be 1 piece of equipment ending on Air Handling Unit-01.
7. Click Add Equipment to add the equipment to your project.
Add List:
The Add List option lets you add a list of specifically named equipment to the project.
2. Click the Add list radio button.
3. Click into the first box, the default name will be the same as the default Base Name from the Add Range option.
You can add your own custom names by typing in the name you want and pressing the Enter key to add a new row.
You can also add a list of equipment by clicking in the first name box and pasting a list.
4. Click Add Equipment.
