5.21 Sub-item Window

The sub-item window allows you to view the summary screen for sub-items on your project or for a parent equipment. On the sub-item summary screen, you can add & delete sub-items. You can modify sub-item names. You can enter data for sub-items also.

1. To access the sub-item window, you must click the plus sign to expand the equipment tree. Upon viewing the line labeled sub-items, click on the sub-Items header with the number.

2. Select the first radio button to only view the summary for sub-items that are under the selected parent object.

3. The all Sub-Equipment Summary radio button will show you a summary of all sub-items of the selected type on the project.

4. From the drop down menu select the type of sub-item you want to view on the summary screen.

5. Click continue to open the summary screen.

Once you click continue, a new tab will open in your web browser showing you the summary screen for the selected sub-Items. More information about the summary screen can be found on our 5.3 Summary View help page.
