Academics

Academic strategies relate to Common Core standards, which set expectations for what students need to know and do in each grade to be on track for college success. We redesigned course curricula to increase the number of students enrolled in four years of math and science, Advanced Placement and other high-level courses.

In our BK Law and Tech courses we have and will continue teaching our hidden agenda, which are instructional strategies to close the achievement gap (Agenda/Planner Progression, Organizational Tool Progression, Note-taking Strategies (Cornell Notes), Progression Levels of Questioning and Thinking Progression).
