Internet Relay Chat - The MSN of 1990s! Oh wait, no one uses MSN anymore, that's right. Anyway it's a form of instant messaging where you connect to a server, and join a "channel" (I'm connected to the ones listed below) and you play the game of idle. If you want to grab someone's attention type the first few lettors of their username and press tab (autocomplete), and then type your message.

I personally use an outdated version of Hexchat.

I connect under the same username (ZdrytchX) @ Freenode and Quakenet.

I also connect to some other services occasionally such as UniIRC (hosted @ Edith Cowan University -  Western Australia for West Australian universities) and a few others but I generally disconnect from the others after logging on as some of them are a bit spammy (i.e. one of the Gloom Server channel has a channel bot that just spams "vote now" etc.). I generally prefer proper IRC channels that people talk on occasionally but isn't too spammy.

#tremulous - Who knows, I might help someone who is new to tremulous and is going "HELLLO?!?! ENIWUN DER?!?"

#unvanquished-dev - I just eavesdrop into the developement. I don't play Unvanquished anymore since they ditched support for the old rendering system

#xonotic - Active developement seriously.

For those who play on the NEW EDGE server on Tremulous you can join #new-edge but I don't really idle there because I don't really talk to the people there anyway.
