First computer to ever be able to run a form of a Flight Simulator, specifically War Thunder and Microsoft Flight Simulator

HISTORY:

2003-2005

Type: Flat Desktop

Operating System: Windows Millennium Edition (ME)

CPU: Pentium II, clock rate forgotten, but I do remembered it is measured in MegaHertz rather than GigaHertz

RAM: 128 MB/KB @ ???, something like that

GPU: None.

Graphics Driver: Unknown. Supports up to basic DX6 iirc but games like V-Rally 2 Expert Edition weren't playable due to lack of OpenGL and later DirectX support.

Sound Drives: Unknown.

HDD: C:// (OS + Utility Programs) 1.5 or 1.8-ish GB, D:// (Recreational Educational/Games/Other Programs) ~1.15GB

Additional Storage: Floppy Disk Port, 2x USB 1.? ports, Compact Disc Drive

Other: No Internet Access. Most of the games I received were from floppy discs and compact discs that had educational games and those that Kellog's used to provide in their Cereal boxes. It was unfortunate that some people were stealing these discs so Kellog's stopped distributing these products. Games include series such as Age of Empires I-III, Infogrames' V-Rally and Supreme Snowboarding games (heck I had a lot of fun in these two on my father's computer). I could play Supreme SnowBoarding on this computer however it ran at about 3-10 fps, similarly to how I currently play War Thunder actually.

2006-2010, 2012-2013

Type: I actually had no computer to use in my free time. Exception however I rarely (like fucking hell, very rarely at least until I started playing on [W]onderland server on Tremulous) used my Mother's computer for educational assignments and secretly gaming purposes (I had tremulous popped onto a USB and hidden in a secret printer driver folder and had binaries renamed to prevent simple searching) because my brother hogged the "one and only" family computer which was shit anyhow with worse specs than my Mum's computer. I forgot the family computer specs but that doesn't matter because I literally NEVER got the fucking chance to use it because my brother hogged it THAT much. He even managed 11th on the ladder on the American World of Warcraft ladder somehow with ~3-8 fps on that shit computer.

Since this was the actual first computer that I started to play first person shooters on (Tremulous specifically) it was "the" computer that brought me to the wonders of the Inter-webs. I played Tremulous on this computer with around 10-36 fps with an average of 24 on ATCS. The Trem Mod "KoRx" with ATCS map took so long to load that 80% of the time when I connected I was kicked (the actual message is "<user> Timed Out" for 999-ing too long) on map-load because the computer didn't have enough RAM to support the KoRx mod.

My Mum's computer specs are as follows:

Operating System: Windows XP Home SP2/3

CPU: 2x t2400 @ 1.83 GHZ (Intel Core Duo), x86, [no further information known]

RAM: 504 MB @ ??? GHZ

GPU: None/Integrated: 2x Mobile Intel Series 4 Chipset Family

Graphics Driver: GM9??, Intel Graphics Media Accelerated Driver for Mobile Report

Resolution: 1366x784 or something like that... something really weird

HDD: 56 GB

Additional Storage: SD Card Slow (Unknown Variant), 4x USB 2.0, DVD Drive

Other: Spent most of my game learning experience towards first person shooters on this computer. Had one of those fuzzy mouse-blob stick things between the F and G keys.

2011 (Australian Government Loan)

Model Type: Portable Desktop, Apple Macintosh "Macbook"

Operating System: OS X, the version just before Lion. It was possible to upgrade to Lion but I think I chose not to. I actually also installed Windows 7 on this computer.

CPU: Unknown

RAM: 1GB @ ???

GPU, Drivers: ???

HDD: 1TB

Additional Storage: DVD Drive, either 2 or 4x USB 2.0.

Other: Best WIFI receiver EVER. Also the best computer I've ever had specs-wise. Most of the old 30+fps (in-game 125+fps) HD tremulous videos (like legit 720p) were made on this computer. Had some weird magnetic cable charger which was cool but troublesome because it was a weak point and cracked when I dropped my school bag.

2013-2014

Model Type: Laptop, Toshiba Satellite

Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP3

CPU: Unknown Dual Core

RAM: 500MB

GPU, Drivers: ??? but Integrated

HDD: 84 GB

Other: Best Speakers Ever. But its screen backlight didn't work so I got neck pain from having my posture being in such a weird position to look at the alternative screen. Had one of those fuzzy mouse-blob stick things between the F and G keys.
