Fockewulf Spin Recovery: Anton A-1-A-8

2. Ailerons into spin

3. Elevator Down (miniature difference with elevator up but elevator up does not let the nose down and spin may rotate other direction if centred at the right time)

4. If flying an aircraft other than the FW-190A-5 then Throttle Down

5. When rotation stops, Center Rudder and Stick

6. Pull out of the dive gently. If you get a wing drop stall, just relax the stick a bit and use a little opposite rudder

Practice Mission also available here: FW Spin Recovery Practice Sandbox

Some new people struggle to recover from a spin in the Fockewulf FW-190 A series.

The A-1 to A-4 recovery can be done in as little as one spin as follows:

1. Rudder opposite the spin.

2. Ailerons into spin

3. Stick Back (Optional, but provides more rudder authority)

4. Power Up (Optional, but provides more rudder/flipper/elevator authority in WT)

5. When spin rate starts slowing down, Stick Neutral/Forward

6. When rotation stops, Center Rudder and Stick

7. Pull out of the dive gently. If you get a wing drop stall, just relax the stick a bit and use a little opposite rudder

As for the A-5 to A-8 Variants:

1. Rudder opposite the spin.
