Partner Web Services (GIPSE)

This work is done by PHGrid partners, so documentation is on their side. This page simply serves as a pointer to service activity and potential next steps that have been identified.

1. RODS - Testing of the RODS implementation of the 8/31 GIPSEService spec. RODS built their own service using Introduce. RODS has completed development but testing has not been completed of NCPHI Lab invoking RODS service.
2. ESSENCE - Testing of the ESSENCE implementation of the 8/31 GIPSEService spec. ESSENCE deployed the GIPSEService codebase. ESSENCE has completed development but testing has not been completed of NCPHI Lab invoking ESSENCE service. ESSENCE has suggested some improvements to the GIPSEService code base; specifically: implementing facility, implementing classifiers on stratifiers, extending the GIPSE spec to allow for custom stratifiers.
3. NEDSS/ CSC - The CSC team has deployed an implementation of the 8/31 GIPSEService spec. Their two nodes are registered with the NCPHI lab gridviewer. The NCPHI Lab has successfully tested invoking both CSC/NEDSS services.
4. Denver DOH - Denver/Utah CoE has deployed the GIPSEService codebase in Denver using a sample gipse_store dataset. The NCPHI Lab has successfully tested invoking the Denver DOH service.
