PHGridArchitecture

Architecture Models:
The NCPHI Technical leadership suggested that an architecture be drawn up for how the Public Health Grid will exist. This includes an overall organizational/social description as well as a roadmap of what components are required when.

As a result of this directive a few architects working on various PHGrid related projects: Vaughn McMullin, Moses Miles, Charlie Peng and myself have started drafting these diagrams as a potential architecture for PHGrid. It's also worth noting that this architecture is influenced by the enterprise architecture activities that took place at NCPHI during the NCPHI Architecture Project of 2007/2008. This project was led by Mike Perry, John Fitzpatrick and Crystal Watson and supported by the NCPHI EA and PMO and EA contractor teams (myself, Loran Naugher, Bill Rowell, Neil Harrison, Moses Miles, Albert Decker, Chuck Akin, Scott Leiberman, Shilvi Gandhi, John Houseal, Brian Castor and Adam Harlow).

We'll store the pages on this wiki to receive comment and track changes.

Please note that none of these diagrams have been approved and they are all considered to be in a rough D R A F T format.
