A list of potential ideas to begin, continue or complee in 2010. Completely unordered:

    • GIPSE Classifier Registry - a set of services to allow publishing of classifier metadata (description, contact, info) and querying of classifiers to allow further data on existing and future GIPSE classifiers.
    • Service to the Data - a set of services that allow programmatic commands to be processed on data stores connected to the grid
      • GIPSE Service to the Data - allow complex queries (like SQL) to be run on GIPSE Services and data sets
    • Communication - more frequent calls and meetings with partners
    • Standards participation - work with Argonne / caGrid on future Globus standards that apply to public health
    • GIPSEPoison demo with Denver
    • GridViewer enhancement - Chris and Taha's ideas
    • RODS6 install as GridViewer
    • GAARDS / Sustainable security
    • NHIN interoperability
    • UDDI Service Registry
    • 2010 publications and conferences
    • GIS services
    • .Net/Python service wrapper & client
    • Web API (i.e. REST, RSS, GeoRSS in addition to SOAP)
    • Public grid services (what can be shared publicly) - this will allow a lot more client possibilities
    • Node recruitment / rollout
  • Continue / Enhance
    • Update GIPSEService
      • Optional Stratifiers
      • Smarter client to allow multiple versions
      • More service metadata (admin contact, enhanced regions for non-US, asynchronous)
    • SiteMinder security working with Globus
  • Complete
    • Transition of components to production team
