Information from the 1911 census

In 1911 Stanley Commins, then 13, and his widowed mother, Ethel, 38, siblings Bert, 12, and Dorothy, 15, were living with their grandparents Robert James and Mary Ann Commins at 161 Taybridge Road, Battersea. Robert, 67, was a retired carpenter, originally from St Wenn, Cornwall; Mary Ann, 77, was from Redruth, Cornwall. Alfred Leverrier, 38, a single master mariner from Bridport, Dorset, lived with the family, who occupied seven rooms.

Charles Harry Commins died in 1907.
