Tioga Pass is Open

No, this isn't the earliest in history (1988, April 29th) and there still no services or campgrounds available (Porta-potties in selected locations is all that is offered.) but you can now drive from one side of the Sierra to the other through Yosemite National Park.
And it is beautiful up there! This photo is from January of 2012, when there was no snow at all...
