The Company Campout

Yep. Every year, we close our company for a few days of paid vacation for the employees, as long as they choose to go camping with us. Each year we pick out a different destination, and this year we were just outside of Yosemite National Park.

It's a great team building exercise. We break into groups so that one group is in charge of dinner and clean up each night...the rest of the company sits back and enjoys the food and the campfire. And since we work in the food and wine business, those dinner tend to be pretty tasty. So do the wines.

During the day, folks hike, go fishing, wander around...sleep in, and do whatever else they want.

Lots of fun. Lots of memories. Lots of kids roasting marshmallows...
