Da Bears win!

The final results of our popular place names poll are in (thanks to all of you who offered opinions and documentation!) and the winner seems to be Bear Lake, Creek, Pass, River, etc.

There were some other strong candidates, but none of them came close to the 75 entries in the Place Names of the Sierra Nevada, and there was a pretty strong consensus that the Bears were the winners.

In honor of that title, we've attached a photo of...Bear Lake.
