Take a Friend Camping

This last weekend marked the 22nd year that we have invited our staff and colleagues at work to join us for a four-day three-night camping trip. This year we headed up to Pinecrest Lake above Sonora on Highway 108, and had a grand old time. Kids, parents, spouses, friends, and others are all invited to join in the fun.

But this is pretty civilized camping, as you can see from the camp kitchen we assembled below.

And the resulting food is pretty darn good, too. Here is our first night's menu, which focused on Puerto Rican food...complete with mojitos.

And on the third night, the corn on the cob was a big hit with the younger generation:

During the day, we all set off for separate activities, from swimming or fishing in the lake to climbing the peaks around Sonora Pass:

And the mornings and evenings were spent lounging around the campfire...

A great trip--and a great group of people!
