As this year (and our hiking season) come to and, we thought we'd share a few photos of the end of the day...

Who need Pinterest? Here are some of our favorite shots of the High Sierra as the sun dips slowly in the West. This is the one part of backpacking you can never experience on a dayhike--the peace and quiet that descend on you as you watch the sun go down.
