Daily Opening Exercises
The Salute to the Flag shall be conducted daily during the days schools are in session.
The pledge of allegiance shall be:
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all."
Any person not wishing to participate in said "Pledge of Allegiance" is hereby exempt from said participation and need not participate in said pledge.

National and State Holidays
National and State holidays shall be observed it they fall on days when school normally would be in session. The school calendar shall make provision for such observance. Appropriate exercises shall be conducted relative to each holiday.
In addition, there shall be appropriate observances of the following non-holiday dates:
