The West Warwick School Committee believes that the learning environment of students should be as free as possible from non-programmed interruptions. While there are times when the use of the school intercom is necessary, such use should be done with discretion. Whenever practicable, classroom interruptions which disrupt the educational process are to be permitted only in the case of an emergency or as a result of administrative necessity.
