Standard IV: Instructional technology facilitators demonstrate knowledge of learners and learning and promote effective instructional practices in a 21st Century learning environment.
a. Instructional technology facilitators use effective pedagogy to infuse the curriculum with 21st Century content and tools.
b. Instructional technology facilitators know the content appropriate to their teaching specialty.
c. Instructional technology facilitators model, share, and promote effective principles of teaching and learning.
Each Tuesday, I host a Tech Tool Tuesday hour, in which a different tool or strategy is introduced and explained. Afterwards we discuss how to integrate the resource in a meaningful. engaging way and how it will help the attendees specifically. This was very well attended at first. Sadly, participation has dwindled.

word girl compare.movHelped with the implementation of Word Girl! Wrote scripts, recorded and produced videos and embedded videos in the WHOO News broadcasts on Mondays.
Each grade level chose 10 words. Those words were then sorted and chosen based on the number of requests.
Help Desk
Since March 16th, we have been doing school from home. It's been a whirlwind. Our staff has had to learn how to host and participate in video conferences. Our students and parents are learning to navigate uncharted waters. I have been blessed to be a part of Oakview to help with this.
I am also honored to be a part of the WCPSS Student Help Desk. I have VPN, Cherwell, Cisco IP Communicator and Finesse all working on my new staff laptop. This enables me to take phone calls from all over the county and help with their technology needs.
