Standard III. Instructional technology facilitators facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive 21st Century instructional technology program.

a. Instructional technology facilitators serve as a specialist, fostering the effective use of digital tools and resources for constructing and sharing knowledge using inquiry-based instruction.

• Attend PLT meetings with grade levels, as requested

• Participated in the Hour of Code with all of my specials and promoted it school-wide.

• Used Google Classroom throughout the year with Grades 1,2,4 and 5.

• Digital Portfolio Work

  • Facilitated creation of a google site digital portfolio with every class in 1st grade

  • Hosted New-to-Oakview student sessions to help new students create/update their portfolios

  • Facilitated updating of existing digital portfolios in grades 2 - 5

  • Explained Personal and confidential information

  • Allowed them freedom to design their page to best reflect them

  • Attended a Day 5 Digital Portfolio mandatory county session on March 12, 2020.

    • This session had several requirements. Create Shared Digital Portfolio Drive.

    • Update Oakview Elementary Digital Portfolio Plan 2020

  • Attended Get to Know ISTE workshop 9/30/2020

  • Attended Invention Literacy with Makey Makey 1/26/2020
