What is persuasive writing? It's where you put down your point of view and try to get someone else to listen to you and perhaps, take your side!
Persuasive writing is in things like:
Advertisements - on TV, online, trying to sell you something and telling you how good it is - buy it now!
Politicians - lots of politicians try and make us believe what they are saying so we will vote for them
Movie and TV Show reviews - to let you know what they thought of the show and if you should watch them
YOU use persuasive speech when you are trying to convince someone to buy you McDonalds!
There are lots more: speeches, interviews, protest letters, letters to the government from people, lawyers use persuasive speech in court to convince the judge not to convict (or by the prosecution to get the person convicted!)
Using our chromebooks, we need to practice our typing. Whaene Vicki can type WITHOUT looking! This is called touch typing. You have to practice a lot to get to that stage, but you can get better and USE MORE THAN ONE FINGER if you practice just a little bit!
Remember to have your headphones on, or your sound turned off.
The more you practice the faster you will become. KEEP TRYING. It gets easier.

Your user name and password are glued inside your Mana book.
How are words made? We can work out what words mean when we learn how words are made.
