HANGA / CREATE:

Find the answers and write it on your white A4 sheet. This is your DRAFT. Check your spelling carefully. Check your answers with a friend. Not sure? Ask someone after you have tried your best.
Transfer your work onto your cream A3 sheet. Use your best handwriting. Do it in pencil first, then go over it in pen. Rub out the pencil.
Colour the images on your A3 sheet carefully.
Make and add your poppy/soldier/anzac mahi to our class window displays.

Reluctant Hero | Television | NZ On ScreenReluctant Hero - In 2007 Willie Apiata, of the NZ Army's elite SAS unit, was awarded the Victoria Cross for carrying a wounded soldier to safety while under fire in Afghanistan. This documentary had exclusive access to Corporal Apiata, from the moment he was told about the VC to his decision a few weeks later to gift the medal to the nation. The shy soldier struggles to deal with his sudden celebrity, and military bosses have to cope with the dual demand of handling media interest in the VC win while still keeping the work of the SAS relatively secret.
