Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny movie review

This movie follows the adventure of a now old Indiana Jones who goes on his last adventure. He must get the Dial of  Destiny before the nefarious Jurger Volier finds it. This dial can give the owner the power to know when time gaps appear and thus be able to time travel. He is accompanied by Helena Shaw, his goddaughter and Teddy, Helena’s young friend. During his journey, he receives the help of several friends and people he met in the previous movies. With the help of these people and many more, Indy is victorious in his adventure.

An interesting fact about this movie is that Harrison Ford was cast yet again as Indiana Jones. He played the character well in this movie and the previous movies. He will have probably reminded fans of all Indy’s other adventures in the previous movies. Ford has a unique and special style. Even though he is an entirely different person from the character he is playing, Harrison manages to become his character in every movie he stars in. Harrison, along with Indy, will always have a special place in our hearts.

Despite its incredible cast however, the story of the fifth movie in the Indiana Jones series was not very interesting for the new generation. The movie had lots of exciting music and fast-paced action scenes but the plot itself was boring. There were so many twists and turns that would have confused the viewers. In addition, the movie felt like it was dragging out a single event for 4 hours. Most of all, the movie felt like it was more focused on bringing the cast from the previous movies instead of making the plot interesting. Thus, it would not have attracted much excitement from the 2000s generation, it would have only been exciting for the 90s generation as a way of remembering the old days. Like this, the movie did not provide anything gripping or exciting for everyone. It only targeted the old generation by being a reminder of the old Indie movies.

All in all, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was not as promising as it seemed. The movie focused more on bringing back most of the original cast that they did not direct enough attention towards making an exciting plot. Therefore, it would be exciting for the old generation to reminisce about the good old days, but it would not be interesting for everyone.
