MAYOR ALONG MALAPITAN CONGRATULATES FIRST YEAR STUDENTS OF ENGLISH-CHINESE DEPARTMENT THROUGH A FACEBOOK POST

City Mayor Along Malapitan congratulated first year students of the BSE English-Chinese program at University of Caloocan City through a Facebook post, upon passing a level 2 Chinese proficiency test with a passing rate of 92.86%.

The Ateneo Confucius Institute released the results of the Chinese proficiency test or HSK2, on Monday, March 24, 2023. As per the result, thirteen out of fourteen English-Chinese first-year students were qualified upon passing level two of the Chinese proficiency examination.
On Thursday, April 13, 2023, Caloocan City Mayor Along Dale Malapitan posted a status on Facebook congratulating the first-year students at University of Caloocan City under the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English-Chinese on passing the said examination.

In his post, he mentioned that the BSE English-Chinese first-year students passed their Chinese examination with a passing rate of 92.86%.

“ipagpatuloy niyo po ang pag-aaral ng mabuti at pagisikap upang tuparin ang inyong mga pangarap. Nawa’y magsilbi kayong inspirasyon sa iba pang mga mag-aaral at sa ating mga Batang Kankaloo,” Mayor Along said.
The University of Caloocan City BSE English-Chinese program coordinator, Margaret Baello, and the dean of the College of Education (COE), Ramona Prado, as well as the whole English-Chinese Circle, showed delight to the first-year English-Chinese students as they successfully passed the level two of the Chinese proficiency examination.
