The clock is ticking

? isn't this a déjà vu ?

There is this gloomy scene in Ingmar Bergman's

'Wild Strawberries'

(Smultronstället)

a 1957 (Swedish) film about an old man recalling his past

... in a dream ...

! a lucid dream on the one hand a real nightmare on the other !

he found himself lost in an unfamiliar part of his hometown where he came along this "crazy" clock(s)

Well?! isn't this a déjà vu !?

! strangely enough in a double - for the protagonist in the direct sense as for me the viewer - in the indirect sense of the word !

? have I really "seen" this before ?

was it all in my

? head

is this my mind  playing with

!? "me" ?!

am

? recalling my conscious or unconscious memory ?

? have I really been here before ?

! and if I did !

? was it real or was it just a dream

and if so

however

was I really here right in this place

or

? do I just seem to have been here before ?

at least

- as far as I'm concerned -

it was

in real

not just

a

dream

! by the way !

the trailer is worth looking at

since it is an aneinanderreihung of memorable symbolic moments

: symbolbeladen - bedeutungsschwanger :

for example when the inescapable threateningly appears

!!! literally just around the corner !!!

while coming closer

Death's carriage rumbles

and the hooves from the horses make

... tictac - tictac - tictac ...

 ... JUST LIKE CLOCKWORK ...

...

really frightening  and thus

real (basic) art
