Adults Without Children

HomeFirst operates housing and shelter sites across Santa Clara County serving chronically homeless individuals, veterans, and youth. Boccardo Reception Center is the largest homeless service center in Santa Clara County. Open 24 hours, conducts in-person intake interviews only. Adult women and men who are homeless and not accompanied by minor children may obtain nightly shelter. Also provides transitional housing as well as other critical services.

Life Moves operates programs which include emergency shelters, transitional and permanent supportive housing, and multi-service centers that provide counseling including mental health and substance abuse, healthcare, child development activities, after school programs, food, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, transportation assistance, access to telephones and voicemail boxes.

The Spring Street Shelter provides emergency shelter and support services for homeless adults with mental illness. Accommodations include separate men's and women's dormitories with a total of 15 beds.
