Human Trafficking

The National Human Trafficking Hotline is a national, anti-trafficking hotline and resource center serving victims and survivors of human trafficking and the anti-trafficking community in the United States. The toll-free hotline is answered live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Callers can speak with the Hotline in English or Spanish, or in more than 200 additional languages using a 24-hour tele-interpreting service. When you call the Hotline, you can expect a specially trained and experienced Anti-Trafficking Hotline Advocate who will speak with you about your needs, your options, and the resources we have available to help. The National Hotline is operated by Polaris.

Hearing and speech-impaired individuals can contact the Hotline by dialing 711, the free national access number that connects to Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS).


Polaris provides human trafficking victims and survivors with critical support to get help and stay safe through the National Human Trafficking Hotline and our BeFree Textline. Individuals can also search for more local resources through our national and global directories. In addition, Polaris provides trainings and tailored solutions to public agencies and businesses that seek to increase their capacity to prevent and eradicate human trafficking.

System of Care for Human Trafficked Minors

Bill Wilson Center Crisis Residential Program is the drop off location for Law Enforcement to bring youth victims of trafficking, Commercially Sexually Exploited Minors (CSEMs) if they are not wards of the Court under the Department Family & Children Services or the Juvenile Probation Department.

The program provides coordinated crisis intervention, stabilization and long-term support services.

Human Trafficking Case Management & Advocacy Services

The program provides support and advocacy services for survivors of human trafficking.

Services include: crisis intervention, case management, individual counseling, advocacy, safety planning, goal planning, referrals & linkage to additional services. The program also provides transportation and accompaniment to social services agencies, attorney's office law enforcement agencies, etc.

Services are offered in Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Hollister and San Jose.

Sexual Assault Services

YWCA Support Services helps residents of Silicon Valley to minimize the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault and to promote safety, mobility, and freedom from abuse for all people.

Services include:

  • 24-hour support line for survivors, family members, and friends.
  • Accompaniment of survivor to the hospital and through the reporting and judicial process.
  • Child abuse and assault prevention programs for children, teens, and the general community.
  • Peer support groups for rape and childhood sexual abuse survivors.
  • Free confidential crisis counseling.
