The mission of Building Skills Partnership is to improve the quality of life for low-wage property service workers and their families by increasing their skills, access to education and opportunities for career and community advancement and participation. BSP partners with SEIU-USWW union, janitorial companies, and many Silicon Valley corporations to offer a wide range of programming to our community members. Over ninety-five percent of the workers are immigrants from Latin America, most never finished grade school, and many are struggling to learn English while working long hours for low wages.

CET is an economic and community development corporation. Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP-Title V). No fee job assistance, job referral and homecare aid classroom training for senior workers aged 55 or older in low income households, unemployed, and residents of Santa Clara County able and willing to work.

The program provides services to labor workers surrounding the areas of Mountain View, Los Altos and Sunnyvale. Services offered: free employment services - such as employer matching and occupational training, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and orientation on how to access social services. The center is also the home of The Workers' Commission, who oversee the daily the center's daily operations and provide unique opportuties for skill development.

DST provides homeless and low-income men and women with the resources they need to rebuild their lives. First, they volunteer on one of the teams and begin working collaboratively on beautification projects. The Gilroy Street Team (GST) employs homeless and formerly homeless individuals to assist with beautification projects around the City of Gilroy. Year Up Bay Area is a one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, coursework eligible for college credits, corporate internships, and wraparound support. Since opening their doors in 2007, they have served over 1,880 young adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. 88% of their graduates are employed (earning competitive wages) or are enrolled in college within four months of completing the program.
