Easy Love

I want to be easy to love

I want to be easy to love so it flows naturally.

I want to be easy to love so you can look at me and not feel disgust in your stomach.

I want to be easy to love so you can hold me and not have your mind filled with thoughts of annoyance.

I want to be easy to love because my god loving you is like breathing and I don't want to lose my only air supply when I tell you how my heart begs for you.

GOODNIGHT

I sleep better when you say goodnight.

My pillow is softer and my blanket is warmer.

My clothes are loose and fit just right.

My smile is real and my eyelids are heavy.

I sleep better when you say goodnight.

I don't think all these things are happening just because of you

But I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Life seems sweeter when I'm next to you..

When I sleep every smile is played like a montage behind my mind

My god I sleep so much better when you tell me goodnight..

Now the nights are colder.

And I don't get your text.

You don't say goodnight anymore

I don't know what's next.

You don't say goodnight anymore

At this point.. I could've sworn you've already left.

I don't know what we are.

Or want you want.

Writing this seems bizarre.

Our whole story almost seems like a playground taunt.

You make the cold feel warm,

You'd be my sun after every storm

I feel safe in your arms,

You turn off all my brain's alarms.

I don't know how to function when you are near.

Everything I'm told goes in and then out the other ear.

I think I'm falling in love,

I wouldn't know though not even when I'm thinking in the clouds above.
