For our second and final project, we had to find orthographic drawings of a double storey corner terraced house and produce a construction drawings set of the detailing of the building elements on superstructures that includes the floors, walls, doors, windows, staircases, and roof based on it. We also had to build a scale partial model of the house.

For my group we were assigned to draw detailings of timber construction which was pretty confusing because we had to convert the existing brick and concrete superstructure into a fully timber system. Besides, we had to work together to make sure everyone was drawing every element correctly, with the right dimensions and position. But luckily, Ms Suja was really patient in checking our work and correcting us because we were unfamiliar with full timber constructions.

I found it really insightful because I've never done such in depth research into timber construction and this would really help with future projects if timber is used. Pretty glad that the drawings I did were on par with the expectations I set for myself.
