This was the third and last project of the module, and was integrated with architectural design I.
For this project, our assignment was to compose a presentation board consisting of at least 2 architectural abstract drawings, 1 floor plan, 2 elevations, 1 section, 1 exploded axonometric and 2 tectonic ideas, with the orthographics being 1:10 scale. The drawings must also be 100% hand-drawn.
We also had to make a 1:10 scaled model with materials that had resemblance with the actual material of our space. Besides that, we had to incorporate AR into our final outcomes with BlippAR which was pretty difficult because I had to learn a new software with an overwhelming amount of foreign features.
This project was by far the most challenging as time management was very crucial; I'll just say, my time management and organisation isn't the best. Hence, to be very honest, I'm quite unsatisfied and disappointed in my final outcome of the project.
Besides the negative, I had some positive takeaways: I improved in my time managing, planning, model making and also scaled drawings.
Overall, the outcome of the project was pretty basic, but the lesson learned in time management and forward planning would stick with me into my future projects.
you can try out the AR feature using the BlippAR mobile app:
