With the application open, you will notice that the r&w toolbar is docked at the top of the screen. This toolbar can be minimized by clicking on the chevron symbol (see screenshot) located on the far right of the r&w toolbar. The r&w icon will also appear in the windows taskbar. If there are too many tools within the toolbar to be displayed, a pull-down arrow will be displayed. Clicking the arrow will bring up the icons that are not able to be displayed.
The toolbar can be undocked and moved to an alternate position on the screen. This is done by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the toolbar and dragging the mouse cursor to the desired location. When dragged to the edges of the screen, the toolbar will dock to that edge
TextHelp, the company that developed read&write, has created an interactive visual that gives an overview of the r&w toolbar and all of the various tools. In addition to a description of what the tool is used for, users can view informative videos related to each tool. Click on the link above or use the QR code to the right to access this resource.
