How read&write works

Read&Write works in conjunction with other applications. On its own, it has no functionality. Think of it as a computer mouse. On its own, it does not work. When plugged into a computing device, the various buttons or scroll wheels perform different functions. Read&Write works with a variety of text based applications which include Microsoft Word, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Google Docs (web app). It may also work with other applications that are text based.

Just as the mouse can be configured in windows settings, r&w can also be configured in a variety of ways to suit individual needs. To enter the settings menu, click on the three horizontal lines (screenshot 2) on the far right hand side of the r&w toolbar.
