This add-on makes it easy to add different letters unique to a specific language. Once the add-on has been started, the user is prompted to select the language for the writing. An impressive 24 different languages are currently supported. Accents that are common to that language are then displayed on the side where a simple click of the button inserts that accent.

One Look Thesaurus - This add-on uses the word under the cursor to search for synonyms, related words, adjectives, rhymes and more. Alternatively, users can select multi-word phrases or enter words manually in the sidebar search box.
TextHelp Study Skills provides highlighting support for students within Google Docs. By highlighting key areas of the document and collecting the highlighted areas, students are able to extract key pieces of information and have it put into a new document for review later. Users of the company's read&write for Chrome extension will be familiar with this popular tool. The add-on provides 30 days of unlimited use after which users are limited to one highlight colour.
Translate - This google created add-on differs from the built-in Docs Translate tool in that specific sections of the document can be translated into the language of choice whereas the Docs tool creates a new document with the translated text. The other difference is that only five languages are supported in the add-on: English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese whereas the built-in translator will handle many more languages. A great add-on for quick in document conversion.
Word Cloud Generator - A handy little tool for quickly creating a word cloud based on inputted words. Students can make their own interesting representations of topics. Customizable features include colour choice, limited number of words to include and cloud style.
WriQ - is an add-on from TextHelp that helps teachers score and keep track of students' spelling, punctuation and grammar errors. Some of the measuring tools include time spent writing, text maturity, spelling error rate, grammar error rate, punctuation error rate, percentage error rate and correct word sequences score.
