While these units - of which US Army Special Forces (the “Green Berets”) are the prototype - are perfectly capable of “direct action” commando-style raiding and are highly skilled light infantry, they specialize in training friendly forces in peacetime, and building guerrilla movements in enemy (or in the case of some nationalities, friendly) territory in wartime.

Note: The "Language" skills in this specialty are nearly as important in terms of cross-cultural literacy as for conversation and communication. Troops in this speciality get a benefit in not offending the cultures they deal with, as well as potentially not giving off glaring (and mission-threatening) examples of cultural impropriety, above and beyond being able to communicate. This should be handled by referee's discretion.
